Bio

Jared Knight is an abstract painter from the Philadelphia area. He has studied privately under Dr. Barnaby Ruhe of NYU and others including Richard Shultz and Lesta Bertoia. Jared spent the earlier part of his life traveling the U.S. and painting. He has taken what he has learned from those experiences and expresses it through his work. Currently settled in Miami Beach, Jared continues to be inspired by his surroundings and the light of the American Riviera.

Artist Statement

“Painting is a relic of a journey made. In fact, the painting is both the vehicle and the idea. Through painting, the discoveries are found, as well as premeditated.
